Now Hear This:This Guest Logbook is
Functional AgainThe CASREP on the outage from May 21st, 2006, until today September 12, 2006, squarely lays the blame at the feet of those infernal spammers, clogging our log with crappola!
With hearty 73s for the excellent efforts of the Webmaster at Guestbook Depot - we thank you.
Would like to see some comments from those stationed at NBA during 1956 thru 1958
After listening to your group experiences, for the last 35 years over 35,000 gallons of beer, I am pleased to be able to place faces with the names. You site is fantastic.
To all those who had to put up with Bob Cobb under the high powered influences of hookers, alcohol, drugs, high speed driving in classic vehicles and to a lesser degree... war, my sincere condolences and prayers for your recovery.
I don't know how to e-mail you directly, Ray Bove, Jr. I knew your dad and mom very well and your sister, too! I worked with your dad at FarFan between May 1971 and August 1974. He was one of my very favorite people there and I have thought of him from time-to-time over the years. Your mom and dad came to visit me at my house in LaChorrera one afternoon and she felt poorly, so they went straight to a doctor that day. She was diagnosed soon thereafter and as I recall, she passed away about six months or so later. It was terribly sad. One thing I will always remember about her is how she and her sisters (?) and friends would often say that they thought I had beautiful feet..! Kinda funny at the time but I still hear it now! I would like to hear from you. What became of your dad and sister? Sincerely, Jim Quarles (harvestshelter@earthlink.net) and (www.harvestshelter.org)
My dad was stationed in Panama. he married a local gal named Otilia. I was born @ Gorgas. I grew up on Farfan from 71 to 83. My freinds now will never know how wonderful those times were. I have an older sister named Brigette. Please E-mail me if you new my Old Man. Thanks
Was at Farfan as an RM from Oct 65 to Jun of 67. Was known as Crim, or Rick. Joe Depietro was my room mate at the barracks. What a great place and a great time. I was a short thin blond guy that came there as a RMSN and left for B School as an RM3. I'll welcome your emails. Crim
