THIS IS BOB COBB SERVED IN FARFAN APRIL 64-OCT. 66. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ALL MY OLD PALS IN NEW ORLEANS. I WILL BE GETTING AS MANY OLD PICTURES I CAN, AND PUTTING THEM ON THE WEB SOON. MY THOUGHTS ABOUT FARFANE AND MY BUDDIES HAVE SURFACED AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK, FOR THE LAST 40 YRS. I KIND OF GREW UP THERE THANKS TO THE HELP OF MY MANY PALS.
I can't believe it. All my very best friends, Joe Cosgrove, Tommy Tucker, Noonan...etc Especially Rick Champlain who past away. I have a fantastic story on his death.
Radio Station Farfan Feb 66 to Sep 69. The best duty station I had whil in the Navy. Made RMC there. Was a supervisor then Radio Chief and finally Chief in Charge.
I hope none of you remember me, but I certainly remember all of you, and I would not miss Naw-leans for all the money in the world. Spent my last 2 years of active duty in Gulfport with the CeeBees, have some great sea stories about that bunch. Hope to see all of you old (63 this year and still playing ball???) navy people. dah di dah
