Timothy Carroll Montgomery,Brandon, Florida passed away February 1, 2021. He was born October 5, 1947 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. He served in the US Navy as a Radio Operator from 1964 and Honorably discharged in 1968.
Before enlisting in the US Navy, he grew up and worked at his father's local store, Monty's Market in Drew Park where he developed life-long friendships. He owned and operated Montgomery Appraisal Service prior to becoming an insurance adjuster with Sentry Insurance from which he retired.
He enjoyed boating, riding his Harley, singing karaoke, and spending time with those he loved. Tim was a friend for life to those he knew and someone you could always rely on. He would always give without hesitation to anyone in need. He was a wonderful father who provided stability, encouragement, guidance, and unconditional love.
Tim is survived by his son, Ron Montgomery (Nancy); daughter, Tywanna Montgomery; grandchildren, Kymber, Ron, Sarah, Kaylee, Brandi, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Colton; sisters, Sheila Montgomery and Mary Gillenwater. Tim will be missed by many that loved him and will be joining his beloved mother, Peggy Turner; father, Hayden Montgomery; daughter, Jennifer Michelle Montgomery; brother, Dallas Montgomery; sisters, Lois Risner, Georgia Perron, and Gayle Montgomery.
Services were held at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens in Brandon February 13 with graveside ceremony at 11 am.
