After the war, Gene went into radio (later TV) repair. He finished his working career as an electronic technician (aka TV repairman) for Sears Roebuck.

This biography has been provided by Gene's son, Bruce Braga who has compiled and provided his Fathers military history and photo memories from his Dad's tour of duty in Panama at NAVCOMMSTA Balboa(NBA), NAVRADSTA Summit(T).

Gene, when talking about his time at Summit with his family and friends spoke very fondly of his time in Panama. He always said the best Chow Mein he ever ate was in Panama City.
