Eugene Braga

1924 to 1994

Eugene Braga, 70, of 23 First St.,
Taunton, an electronics technician for
Sears, Roebuck & Company in Providence,
died Monday at Morton Hospital in Taunton.
He was husband of Ida M. (Martrtinelli) Braga.

Born in Taunton, he was son of the late Manuel J.
and Roseline (Costa) Braga.

Mr. Braga was a Navy veteran of
World War II and the Korean War. He
was a communicant of Sacred Heart
Church. He was in ham radio and had
the call sign W1UQN. He was a mem-
ber of the United States Naval Armed
Guard Association, and the American
Radio Relay League (ARRL).

Besides his wife he leaves two sons,
Eugene E. Braga of San Francisco, CA,
and Bruce F. Braga of Newport.

The funeral was held Saturday at
9a.m. from the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral
Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton,
with a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart
Church, 2nd Street, Taunton at 10.
Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery
in Taunton.
